Welcome to Alma Vida
Alma Vida means “soul life” or “soul living.” It is the manifestation of a seven year dream by owners, Rick and Amy Quintero. Originally purchased in 2017 we began by offering a vacation villa for families and groups. Our vision was always to offer retreats in this magical setting, but we had to be patient; we had to plant the seed, water it and let it grow. In time, the land told us what it could become and how it could best serve.
From 2023-2024 we renovated just about everything so that you and your group would need to worry about nothing. In addition to upgrading all of the utilities, rooms, bathrooms, and interior kitchens, we added a rooftop kitchen to dine under the stars, excavated the yard to add tens of thousands of liters of water catchment and water storage, built a traditional Temazcal sweat lodge and cold plunge pool, added fountains and water features, upgraded the huge salt water pool, added a mosaic dance patio, BBQ, yoga deck, meditation courtyard, multi-zone sound system, and El Nido (The Nest) basket swing lounge area to offer more amenities and options on one property than any other venue in San Pancho.
We also take our connection to the community and land very seriously. Before construction began we held a blessing ceremony with a Shaman to imbed the vision and vibration into the land. We aspire to be a beacon that helps raise consciousness and sends that energy out into the world. Alma Vida supports several local non profit organizations that help women, children, sea turtles, the arts and the environment. We employ some of the most profound healers in the area to facilitate healing and transformation while supporting your vision.
We welcome you and thank you for sharing this magical space. We invite you to unwind, reconnect, ignite your passion, and spark your soul. Let your dreams become reality at Alma Vida!
Many Blessings,
Amy and Rick
